July 25-26, 2009 - The Weekend is no easy feat, but your generous donation and continual support along with the dedicated effort of our Walkers, Crew Members, and Volunteers have raised over $3 million to further innovative cancer research, screening initiatives and patient programs that will not only benefit those suffering from breast cancer, but all women’s cancers.
On behalf of the Alberta Cancer Foundation, thank you for supporting The 2009 Weekend to End Breast Cancer. You have made a bigger impact than ever before since this year’s event was expanded to include funding for breast cancer and gynecological cancers as well. Our new digital mobile screening facilities will be on the roads of Alberta this summer and more than 54 research programs at the Cross Cancer Institute and Tom Baker Cancer Centre will continue to search for the answers we need to put an end to women’s cancers.
